V článku je podán přehled nejdůležitějších klasických i recentních údajů o klinicko-anatomickém členění páteřního kanálu a jeho obsahu (medulární složka, intradurální extramedulární složka, dura mater spinalis, epidurální prostor), přehled některých regionálních rozdílů v utváření a obsahu páteřního kanálu a konečně soubor některých morfologicky podmíněných možných příčin komplikací intraspinální anestezie.
The article presents a review of most important classical as well as recent data concerned on the clinicalanatomical description of the vertebral canal and its contents (medullar part, intradural extramedullar part, spinal dura mater, epidural space), overview about some regional differences in the organization and contents of the vertebral canal, and finally the review of some morphologically based reasons of possible complications of the intraspinal anesthesia.
