In the article the author submits the results of questionnaires aimed at finding out the usage of the importance of restorative effect of nutrition in a daily routine on the performance of mature sportsmen and the youngs. In the field of restoration and increase of sport performance due to the suitable nutrition and keeping proper eating habits, we can state that there is a lack of information among coaches and parents of the youngs engaged in sports. In general there is a considerable absence in the usage of all the forms, methods and possibilities for restoration sportsmen energy. In order to increase sport performance, it is suggested to study technichal literature about proper eating habits and eating as such. We also suggest consultations with specialists from other similar scientific study fields.
