Na dvou souborech pacientů s diagnózou Angleova II. třída, 1.oddělení, léčených na 7 pracovištích, byla hodnocena efektivita ortodontické léčby fixními a snímacími aparáty. Měření byla prováděna na sádrových modelech zhotovených před léčením a po ukončení aktivní fáze léčení. Efektivita byla hodnocena pomocí PAR (Peer Assesment Rating) Indexu. Měření bylo prováděno na dvou souborech pacientů. Soubor I 124 pacientů byl rozdělen na skupinu A (fixní aparáty) 69 pacientů a skupinu B (snímací aparáty) 55 pacientů, u kterých byla léčba zahájena v prvním pololetí r. 1998. Soubor III41 pacientů, skupina A (fixní aparáty) 96 pacientů, skupina B (snímací aparáty) 45 pacientů, u kterých byla léčba zahájena v pn/ním pololetí r. 2000. Efektivita léčby je u fixních aparátů výrazně vyšší než u snímacích aparátů u obou zkoumaných souborů. Kvalita výsledku léčby je vyšší u fixních aparátů u obou zkoumaných souborů.
The effectiveness of the orthodontic treatment with fixed and removable appliances was assessed in two sampies of patients with Class II division 1, treated in 7 orthodontic establishments. Assessment was carried out on casts taken before treatment and after the active phase of the treatment. The effectiveness was assessed by using the PAR (Peer Assessment Rating) Index. Assessment was performed in two samples of patients. The sampie I involving 124 patients was divided into Group A (treated with fixed appliances) of 69 patients, and Group B (treated with removable appliances) of 55 patients; the treatment started "in the first half of 1998. The sample II (141 patients) was divided into Group A (treated with fixed appliances) of 96 patients, and Group B (treated with removable appliances) of 45 patients; the treatment commenced in the first half of 2000. In both samples assessed, the effectiveness of the treatment is considerably higher in the case of treated with fixed appliances than in the groups treated with removable appliances. The quality of the treatment results is better in the groups treated with fixed appliances in both samples.
