Po skúsenosti s vírusom SARS Cov-2, je zvýšený do- pyt po rádiologických zobrazovacích modalitách v diagnostike a v manažmente pacientov. Rádiologické pracoviská sú ohrozené kontamináciou prostredia a následným šírením infekčných ochorení. Riziko sa zvyšuje najmä v prípade, ak sa vyšetrenie vykonáva u pozitívneho pacienta. Je nutné na každom praco- visku zabezpečiť efektívne hygienicko-epidemiologic- ké opatrenia na zamedzenie šírenia ochorenia, keďže v prípade infikovania zdravotníkov by mohlo nastať obmedzenie poskytovania zdravotnej starostlivosti.
In the current period due to the increasing number of patients with SARS Cov-2 infection, there is an increased demand for radiological imaging modalities in the diagnosis and management of patients. Radiological workplaces are equally threatened by environmental contamination and the subsequent spread of any infectious diseases. The risk increases especially if the examination is carried out in a po- sitive patient, who is undergoing a radiological exa- mination to attempt to record thew progress of the disease. It is necessary to ensure hygienic-epidemio- logical measures to prevent the spread of the dise- ase at every workplace, since in the case of infection of many large numbers of medical workers, the col- lapse of the medical facility could occur, which wo- uld cause a limitation of the provided medical care.

The development and advent of digi- talization, modern imaging technology (CT, MR), in- terest and extended education in dental care have ensured and enabled to improve knowledge and pos- sibilities of diagnostics and therapy in dentistry.
