V článku jsou diskutovány možnosti konzervativní léčby onemocnění HCD mimo léčbu medikamentózní. Je zdůrazněna nutnost specializovaného ORL vyšetření zaměřeného na endoskopické vyšetření nosu a nosohltanu a sanace HCD pro zlepšení stavu dolních cest dýchacích. Mezi základní metody konzervativní léčby, kterými lze zlepšit stav a rehabilitovat nosní sliznici, patří dostatečné zvlhčování vzduchu, nosní laváže, inhalace, provzdušnění PND, správná technika smrkání, inhalací, správná aplikace nosních kapek a sprejů, punkce čelistní dutiny a pomocné fyzikální metody jako aplikace tepla, biolampy či magnetoterapie.
The article disusses the options of conservative tratment of upper airways (UA) disease other than pharmacological therapy. The need for ORL examination by a specialist focused on endoscopic examination of the nose and nasopharynx, and UA treatment to improve the state of the lower airways. The basic methods of conservative therapy, which may help improve the state of and rehabilitate the nasal mucosa, include adequate air humidification, nasal lavage, inhalations, aeration of the side nasal sinuses, proper techniques of clearing one s nose, inhalations, proper administration of nasal drops and sprays, maxillary sinus puncture and use of auxiliary physical methods such as application of warmth, biolamps, or magnetotherapy.
