The expanding spectrum of gluten-related autoimmune disorders may encompass distal tubular acidosis. We report a case of an infant presenting a classical digestive celiac disease along with a transient, reversible tubular acidosis that vanished after gluten free diet.

Gluten-related disorders are an emerging worldwide with a global prevalence estimated at 5% in the general population. They include celiac disease, nonceliac gluten sensitivity and wheat allergy. Specifically, the peculiar wheat-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis is a particular allergy that occurs after wheat ingestion followed by physical exercise.

Celiac disease (CD) is associated with an increased risk for malignancy, specially lymphoproliferative. During a retrospective annual study of intestinal biopsies results in the pathology department at the University Hospital of Setif, we were only half surprised to find a lymphoma in an adult patient initially presenting a CD. We briefly present this case with a review of the current literature.
Celiac disease is a genetically determined gluten-sensitive auto-immune condition, mainly an enteropathy resulting in nutrient malabsorption. Its intestinal damages, with lymphocytic gastroduodenitis, can also be due to a myriad of gastro-intestinal infections that act as true "triggering agents". We present two pediatric patients with infectious associations leading to a transient positive celiac disease serology, with various agents and different genetic suscpetibility.

The gluten ataxia is one of the commonest neurological manifestations of gluten-related disorders: prevalence was estimated at 15% amongst all ataxias and 40% of all idiopathic sporadic ataxias; its diagnosis should be confirmed by the prsence of anti-gliadin antibodies. Gluten ataxia is, by its management, very peculiar: few etiologies, among the large pannel of childhood ataxias, may respond to dietary treatments. We present an instructive case of gluten ataxia in a teenage girl.
