Endometrióza je ektopické ložisko endometria mimo dutinu děložní. Existuje několik klasifikací, určujících možný způsob rozsevu endometria mimo dělohu, mezi které patří r-AFS-klasifikace, klasifikace ENZIAN a Biberoglu a Behrman scale. Mezi extragenitální formy endometriózy patří endometrióza plic a pleury, endometrióza uropoetického traktu a endometrióza trávicího traktu. Každá z těchto forem se liší charakterem příznaků, klinickými projevy a terapeutickými možnostmi v závislosti na lokalizaci a rozsahu ektopických lézí. Endometriosis is ectopic presence of endometrium out of uterine cavity. There exists several classifications which suggests way of endometrial spread out of uterus, where belongs r-AFS-classification, ENZIAN-classification and Biberoglu and Behrman symptom score. Between extragenital forms of endometriosis belong thoracic endometriosis, urinary tract endometriosis and rectovaginal or bowel endometriosis. Each of these forms differs in character of symptoms, clinical findings and management of therapy according to localisations and spread. Therapy is either conservative (medicamental) or surgical.
