Bakteriální represorový protein, který má serinovou endopeptidázovou aktivitu. LexA potlačuje transkripci genů zapojených do SOS odpovědi na poškození DNA.

A bacterial repressor protein that has serine endopeptidase activity. LexA represses transcription of genes involved in the SOS RESPONSE to DNA DAMAGE.
