Cieľom práce je podať prehľad výsledkov klasickej chirurgickej liečby akútnej črevnej ischémie u 32 pacientov v retrospektívnej štúdii. Mortalita 72 % sa nelíši od údajov iných autorov. Dôraz je kladený na včasnú diagnostiku. Perspektívou je využitie modernej neinvazívnej diagnostiky a v liečbe intervenčná rádiológia a miniinvazívna chirurgia.

The objective of the paper is to review results of classical surgery of acute ischaemia of the gut in 32 patients in a retrospective study. The mortality of 72 % does not differ from data of other authors. The author emphasizes early diagnosis. The perspective is to make use of modern non-invasive diagnosis and and apply intervention radiology and miniinvasive surgery in treatment.
