Autoři provedli u 10 osob CT vyšetření obou zápěstí a porovnávali nálezy na ligamentum carpi transversum a v subligamentózním prostom s výsledky elektromyografického vyšetření zaměřeného na diagnostiku syndromu karpálního tunelu. Prakticky ve všech případech počítačová tomografie diagnózu potvrdila. U 2 pacientů s vyhraněnějšími nálezy na CT byla doplněna sonografíe a vyšetření magnetickou rezonancí. Tato vyšetření, zvláště magnetická rezonance, diagnózu jednoznačně podpořila.
The authors made in 10 subjects CT examinations of both wrists and compared the findings on the ligamentum carpi transversum and in the sublisfamentous space with the results of electromyographic examinations focused on the diagnosis of the caipal tunnel syndrome. Practically in all cases computed tomography confirmed the diagnosis. In two patients with more defined findings on the CT it was supplemented by sonography and magnetic resonance. The examinations, in particular the latter, supported the diagnosis unequiviocally.
