Retronychia is defined as ingrowth of the proximal nail plate into the proximal nail fold, with the appearance of xantonychia, proximal part of the nail plate is thinned, and a new nail plate is growing below the old one. These changes occur most often as a result of microtraumatisation. The diagnoses is mostly based on the clinical finding and in case of ambiguities, an ultrasonographic examinantion can be helpful. Treatment depends on the stage and severity of the disease at the time of diagnosis. In mild forms it is possible to use conservative treatment, either in the form of applying corticosteroids locally, intralesionally, or in combination with podiatric treatment. In advanced involvement is necessery an avulsion of the nail plate. Knowledge of the symptoms of this disease and its early diagnosis will enable early treatment, which can prevent possible complications or recurrences.
Očné prejavy syfilitickej infekcie sú pomerne zriedkavým nálezom. Autori prezentujú 4 prípady očného postihnutia u pacientov so syfilisom. Súčasne zdôrazňujú potrebu medziodborovej spolupráce dermatovenerológa, oftalmológa a neurológa.
Ocular manifestations of syphilitic infection are a relatively rare finding. The authors present 4 cases of ocular involvement in patients with syphilis. The granulomatous panuveitis was the manifestation in two cases, one case manifested as the intrabulbar neuritis of the n. opticus and the other one as the vitritis with n. opticus oedema. There was positivity of the FTA-ABS IgG test in the cerebrospinal fluid in all patiens. All cases were diagnosed with secondary stage of syphilis and the findings regressed in all patients after the treatment. The authors call attention to the risks of underdiagnosed ocular impairment, as well as the need of interdisciplinary and collaborative teamwork of dermatovenerologist, ophthalmologist and neurologist.

Linear IgA dermatosis is rare autoimmune mediated dermatosis that affect skin and mucous membranes , and its characterised by formation of subepidermal blisters. The autors present one case of linear IgA dermatosis assosiated with SARS COV-2 mRNA vaccination, diagnosis was made according to histological and imunohistochemical examination.

Importance: A clear dosing regimen for methotrexate in psoriasis is lacking, and this might lead to a suboptimal treatment. Because methotrexate is affordable and globally available, a uniform dosing regimen could potentially optimize the treatment of patients with psoriasis worldwide. Objective: To reach international consensus among psoriasis experts on a uniform dosing regimen for treatment with methotrexate in adult and pediatric patients with psoriasis and identify potential future research topics. Design, Setting, and Participants: Between September 2020 and March 2021, a survey study with a modified eDelphi procedure that was developed and distributed by the Amsterdam University Medical Center and completed by 180 participants worldwide (55 [30.6%] resided in non-Western countries) was conducted in 3 rounds. The proposals on which no consensus was reached were discussed in a conference meeting (June 2021). Participants voted on 21 proposals with a 9-point scale (1-3 disagree, 4-6 neither agree nor disagree, 7-9 agree) and were recruited through the Skin Inflammation and Psoriasis International Network and European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology in June 2020. Apart from being a dermatologist/dermatology resident, there were no specific criteria for participation in the survey. The participants worked mainly at a university hospital (97 [53.9%]) and were experienced in treating patients with psoriasis with methotrexate (163 [91.6%] had more than 10 years of experience). Main Outcomes and Measures: In a survey with eDelphi procedure, we tried to reach consensus on 21 proposals. Consensus was defined as less than 15% voting disagree (1-3). For the consensus meeting, consensus was defined as less than 30% voting disagree. Results: Of 251 participants, 180 (71.7%) completed all 3 survey rounds, and 58 participants (23.1%) joined the conference meeting. Consensus was achieved on 11 proposals in round 1, 3 proposals in round 2, and 2 proposals in round 3. In the consensus meeting, consensus was achieved on 4 proposals. More research is needed, especially for the proposals on folic acid and the dosing of methotrexate for treating subpopulations such as children and vulnerable patients. Conclusions and Relevance: In this eDelphi consensus study, consensus was reached on 20 of 21 proposals involving methotrexate dosing in patients with psoriasis. This consensus may potentially be used to harmonize the treatment with methotrexate in patients with psoriasis.

Vírusové exantémy sú dermatológom známe. Pandémia spôsobená koronavírusom (SARS-CoV-2) s miliónmi infikovaných pacientov postupne odhaľuje široké spektrum pľúcnych i mimopľúcnych manifestácií. Dermatologické manifestácie možno rozdeliť do 6 skupín: urtikariálne prejavy, konfluujúci erytemato-makulo-papulo-morbiliformný exantém, papulovezikulózny exantém, akrálny exantém charakteru pseudoomrzliny, livedo a purpura/vaskulitída. Článok sumarizuje aktuálne poznatky týkajúce sa incidencie, morfológie a vzťahu exantémov k priebehu a závažnosti infekcie COVID-19.
Viral rashes are well-known group in dermatology. Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemy affecting millions of people revealed large spectrum pulmonal and extrapulmonal symptoms. Dermatologic manifestations could be divided into 6 groups: urticarial rash, confluent erythematous/maculopapular/morbilliform rash, papulovesicular exanthem, chilblain-like acral pattern, livedo reticularis/racemosa-like pattern and purpuric "vasculitic" pattern. Paper summarizes current knowledges with respect to incidence, clinical picture a relationship of rashes to the course and severity of COVID-19 infection.
