From 2007 to 2011 total of 103 pediatric patients have been treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy at our workplace. The patients were treated for the following indications: sensorineural hearing loss or tinnitus, central nervous system impairment mostly due to traumatic brain injury or hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy after cardiopulmonary resuscitation, acute carbon monoxide poisoning, complications of oncological treatment, acute traumatic peripheral ischemia, necrotizing soft tissue infections, nonhealing wound and chronic refractory osteomyelitis. 96% of the children were treated in hospital, of which 48% in the intensive care unit or department of pediatric resuscitation and intensive care. The favorable outcome of the treatment was observed in 82% of cases. In 18% of cases, treatment was not successful, or it was not possible to assess the outcome. In 54 patients a total of 178 episodes of unexpected incidents were recorded during treatment. In relation to the total number of treatment sessions incident rate of 17.5% was detected. Serious health and life-threatening complications or side effects of treatment were not observed in any case.

Nemoci lze rozdělit do dvou skupin: na onemocnění s patologickou inhibicí apoptózy (nádorová onemocnění, některé autoimunitní nemoci) a onemocnění s patologickou indukcí apoptózy (neurodegenerativní onemocnění, AIDS).
Caspases are enzymes which play a key role in programmed cell death – apoptosis. Dysregulation of this process results in a series of disorders in which apoptosis is involved in pathogenesis. Diseases could be divided into two groups – diseases with pathological inhibition of apoptosis (cancer, some autoimmune disorders) and diseases with pathological induction of apoptosis (neurodegenerative disorders, AIDS). The paper lists the most significant activators and inhibitors of caspases as they control apoptosis and hence they are widely studied nowadays. The effects of stobadine, theophylline and adenine derivatives on the activity of caspase 1 was investigated with the use of spectrophotometry. The compounds under study showed an inhibitory effect on the enzyme tested; in one case the inhibitory effect exceeded 80%.
Článek pojednává o pacientech postižených akutním infarktem myokardu, kdy je důraz kladen na včasnou diagnostiku ještě v terénu, správnou přednemocniční léčbu a co nejrychlejší transport do kardiocentra. Všechny tyto kroky jsou důležité, aby zdravotní postižení pacientů bylo co nejmenší a mohli se vrátit co nejdříve do plnohodnotného života.
The article addresses care of patients with acute myocardial infarction stressing early diagnosis n the scene, pre-hospital care and prompt transport to a cardiac center. All these steps are important to minimize the damage and enable the patients to return back to their previous life as soon as possible.
All information was obtained as based on a method inquiry. From the total of a 70- asked, filled in 50 respondents their forms. 48 respondents clearly specified the active's broken and can correctly classify. We could say, that active's breaks are very often realized in practice. On the other hand the kinetic classes were not able to clearly define about 50 % respondents. In spite of the number, We think, that majority of teachers place this activity in their lessons. We suppose nowadays, when sedentary lifestyle with little moving is common, it is very necessary to add some activity into system of education of younger aged pupils. Active's breaks and mostly classes with moving may be a good occasion for making a contact between a teacher and a pupil. The teacher sees the child working in different position, not only as one sitting at a desk. The teacher can find out a position of the pupil in the class – group, leading and authoritative ability or his participation in schoolwork. A kinetic class is certainly a good sign, which could uncover the circumstances leading into chicane. Lessons with activity help to bring out or explain new problems and it is excellent way for repeating these tasks. It becomes a good way how to reduce inattention and fatigue. This break helps pupils to meet their basic needs as moving without any discussion.
