Burns caused by hydrofluoric acid are dangerous because of their inconspicuousness and if they are not adequately treated shortly after the injury, they may harm the patient seriously; if an area larger than 1% of body surface is injured or in case of inhalation injury, it may be even fatal. We present two different approaches to such injury; one of them is exemplified by the patient's case history.
