BACKGROUND: The aim of this article is to present a new methodology for assessment of skin topology using a three-dimensional image (3D). METHODS: The measurement of the skin surface roughness is based on 3D scanning of silicone replicas by chromatic aberration length technique in a contactless manner, i.e. by a polychromatic light beam. Analysis of the skin surface reprints was performed using Talymap, Gold version. Results were analysed by fractal geometry, which allows to evaluate changes of the skin surface before and after application of cosmetics and instrumental cosmetological techniques. The methodology was applied for objective assessment of the effects of diamond microdermabrasion on the skin surface roughness. Measurements were performed on 23 volunteers in the age group of 31-67 years. RESULTS: Based on the results of skin surface scanning after the treatment with diamond microdermabrasion it may be concluded that inequalities of the skin surface are reduced immediately after exfoliation. However, this effect mostly diminishes within 14 days after treatment. The entire study ultimately suggests that the instrumental method used only leads to improvement of the skin surface immediately after its application. Thermo vision images of the skin surface temperature were obtained during the application of the abrasive method. The experimental results showed that the skin is rather cooled than heated by the treatment. CONCLUSION: This study is focused on the development of a methodology for objective measurement of changes in treated skin relief using 3D scanning. The results are evaluated using fractal dimension. The output may also include also an enlarged model of the skin surface made by 3D printer, which can serve for illustrative communication with the client.

Stárnutí je nedílnou součástí našeho života a postihuje každého jedince. Je dáno genetickou predispozicí, hormonálními vlivy, věkem, nedostatkem vitaminů, vody, stopových látek a působením zevních faktorů. Z těchto faktorů nejvíce na kůži působí UV záření (tzv. photoaging), kouření, klima.
Práce se zabývá souhrnnou problematikou jizev. Prevencí vzniku hypertrofické nebo keloidní jizvy je promašťování, tlakové obklady a masáže, jež usnadňují fysiologické vyzrávání jizvy. Moderními formami hojení jsou silikonové gely, hydroaktivní ošetf ování a zcela nová extrakorporální terapie nárazovými vlnami. Práce rovněž upozorňuje na možné důsledky jizev lokalizovaných v akupunktumích meridiánech. Moderní preventivní i léčebnou metodou k eliminaci patologických jizevnatění je biostimulační laser s infračerveným scannerem. Je uvedena zmínka 0 injekční aplikací steroidů do jizvy a možnostech lokální i celotělové kryoterapie velmi nízkými teplotami (-120°C). Jsou vysvětleny možnosti i rízíka vyhlazení kožního reliéfu u vystupujících nepravidelností povrchu kůže pomocí dermabraze, mikrodermabraze a její alternativy - laserového resurfacingu (erbiový, uhličitý a vaskulámí laser). Možnosti remodelace atrofické jizvy spočívají v implantaci hyaluronu či kolagenu, liposukci okolní tkáně či laserové korekci laserem Smoothbeam. V závěru jsou shrnuty možnosti korekce jizev pomocí plastické chirurgie, problematika perítoneálních adhesí, vertebroviscerálních vztahů a hemie in cicatricae.
The authors described the general and new methods in this problem. They directed to the fact that scars are localised in acupuncture meridiáne. The new lately methods utilize the steroids, the silicon jellys, the hydroactive treatments and the impulse-waves, the biostimulating laser with infrared scanner, the cryotherapy... In the next they explained the risks and positives of dermabrasis and laser-resurfacing. The implantation of hyaluron-acid or collagen, liposuction around of scar, or laser-correction are remodulation posibilities of atrophic scars. The local application sulphid and sulphate minerál waters and subcutaneous carbonic therapy improve elasticity of collagen fibres in scar. The electrotherapy such as ionophoresis, magnetotherapy, Rebox and next are limited. In the end the authors described problems of peritoneal adhesis, hernia in scar and posibility of plastic surgery.
