Jumper's knee je klinický syndrom vyskytující se u spoirtovců, kteří nadměrně zatěžují extenzorový aparát kolenniho kloubu (volejbalisté, basketbalisté, skokani do výšky a další). Magnetická rezonance je důležitá při verifikaci diagnózy, v jejím obraze je typický nález rozšíření patelami šlachy. Toto rozšířeni je fokálně při proximálnim konci akcentováno spolu s ložiskovým zvýšením signálu v této oblasti v Tl a T2-vážených obrazech.
Jumper's knee is a clinical syndrome occurring in sportsmen, who extensively use the quadriceps mechanism of the knee joint (volleyball players, basketball players, high jumpers and others). MR is an important method for verification of the diagnosis. A typical finding on MR images is thickening of the patellar tendon. This thickening is accentuated focally in the proximal portion of the tendon, focail enhancement of the signal on Tl and T2W in this area is also present.
