V uvedenom článku by som sa chcela venovať popisu metód a foriem sterilizačného procesu a následne monitorovaniu procesu v zmysle platnej legislatívy. Pre dodržanie kompatibility procesu sterilizácie je potrebné dodržiavať stanovené kritériá, ktoré budú smerovať k dosiahnutiu želateľného efektu – sterilnej zdravotníckej pomôcky, kde celý postup dokážeme monitorovať dostupnými a overenými metódami.
In this article, I would like to describe the methods and forms of the sterilization process and, consequently, to monitor the process according to valid legislation. To ensure compatibility of the sterilization process, it is necessary to follow the criteria that will be directed to achieving the desired effect - a sterile medical device, where we can monitor the whole process with available and validated methods.
Vazektomie je vysoce efektivní metoda antikoncepce. S rozvojem bezskalpelové techniky na ni ve světě spoléhá nemalé procento párů. Výhodou je její malá invazivita a nízké riziko komplikací při vysoké spolehlivosti. V roce 2012 se v České republice upravila právní legislativa omezující využití vazektomie, díky této změně se vazektomie stala běžně dostupnou metodou antikoncepce.
Vasectomy is a highly effective method of contraception. With the development of no-scalpel technique, significant percentage of couples worldwide rely on it. In 2012 the Czech Republic has changed its legal legislation restricting the use of vasectomy, which is easily accessible now. Its advantages are its minimal invasiveness, low risk of complications and high reliability.

Sexuální aktivita mladých dnes začíná dřív než v minulosti a je výrazně vyšší než u starších lidí. Proto má používání vhodné antikoncepce velký význam právě v tomto období. Doporučit bezpečnou a spolehlivou ochranu před nechtěným těhotenstvím vyžaduje pozitivní postoj a informovanost lékařů, a to pediatrů i gynekologů. Antikoncepce pro mladistvé by měla být bezpečná, šetrná, účinná a finančně dostupná.
A review of the various methods of contraception, from the aspect of suitability for teenage girls. Sexual activity of adolescents today begins earlier than in the past and is significantly higher than in other population. Therefore, the use of adequate contraception is very important in this period. Recommend safe and reliable protection against unwanted pregnancy requires a positive attitude and awareness of physicians – pediatricians and gynecologists.
