Aim: This study aims to assess the effectiveness of ATHP-HC on the severity of nausea and vomiting, relaxation state, brainwaves, and quality of life in women with Nausea and Vomiting in Pregnancy (NVP). Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted on 62 pregnant women randomly allocated into intervention and control groups using a pre-post-test. Researchers provided ATHP-HC to the intervention group and Cirebon Gamelan audio therapy to the control group. The research instruments included PUQE-24-hour scoring, measurement of vital signs, brainwaves using NeuroSky MindWave Mobile II, and WHOQOL-BREF. The data collected were processed with SPSS version 24.0 and analyzed using the statistical formula paired t-test. Results: The results of the study showed that there were significant differences between nausea and vomiting scores (p = 0.000), relaxation levels (p = 0.003 in the intervention group and p = 0.000 in the control group), and quality of life (p = 0.000), before and after the treatment in the intervention group and the control group. There was a significant difference in the state of relaxation after the intervention in the two groups of respondents (p = 0.001). There was no significant difference in the proportion of increased meditation in the two groups of respondents (p = 0.707). Conclusion: As relaxation and meditation music, ATHP-HC can be a complementary therapy for pregnant women to overcome NVP.

The use of the healing power of nature is as old as humanity itself, with the vast majority of natural remedies being of plant origin. As a matter of fact, a number of currently used chemical medicines, including cytostatic drugs, also have their natural prototype. It is therefore no surprise that even contemporary medicine does not turn its back on standardized medicinal products in the form of phytopharmaceuticals. On the contrary, as part of the current trend of returning to nature, a lot of patients prefer or even request these remedies; hence, it is important to be aware of the options of this "classical" treatment. This interest is potentiated in cancer patients in whom the fear of adverse chemotherapy effects stigmatizes other chemical medicines.

The oral proteasome inhibitor ixazomib is approved in the United States, European Union and other countries, in combination with oral lenalidomide and dexamethasone (Rd), for the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least one prior therapy. Approval was based on the global, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III TOURMALINE-MM1 study of ixazomib-Rd (IRd) versus placebo-Rd in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. IRd resulted in a significant improvement in progression-free survival versus placebo-Rd (median: 20·6 vs. 14·7 months; hazard ratio 0·74). Common toxicities observed more commonly with IRd versus placebo-Rd were thrombocytopenia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, rash, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral oedema and back pain; these were generally grade 1/2 in severity except for thrombocytopenia (19% vs. 9% grade 3/4), which appeared manageable and reversible, with no differences between arms in significant bleeding or dose discontinuations. No cumulative toxicities were observed, indicating the potential feasibility of long-term IRd treatment. Safety data from TOURMALINE-MM1 are reviewed and guidance for managing clinically relevant adverse events associated with IRd is provided. Most toxicities were manageable with supportive care and dose delays or reductions as needed. Clinicians should be aware of and understand these potential side effects to optimise and prolong patient benefit.
