Motivated by the known stability of the somewhat unusual Be2O2 rhombus, which features a short Be-Be distance but no direct metal-metal bonding, we investigate the nature of the bonding interactions in the analogous clusters MM'O2 (M, M' = Be, Mg, Ca). CCSD/cc-pVTZ and CCSD(T)/cc-pVQZ calculations, amongst others, are used to determine optimized geometries and the dissociation energies for splitting the MM'O2 clusters into metal oxide monomers. The primary tools used to investigate the chemical bonding are the analysis of domain-averaged Fermi holes, including the generation of localized natural orbitals, and the calculation of appropriate two- and three-center bond indices. Insights emerging from these various analyses concur with earlier studies of M2O2 rhombic clusters in that direct metal-metal bonding was not observed in the MM'O2 rings whereas weak three-center (3c) bonding was detected in the MOM' moieties. In general terms, these mixed MM'O2 clusters exhibit features that are intermediate between those of M2O2 and M'2O2, and the differences between the M and M' atoms appear to have little impact on the overall degree of 3c MOM' bonding. Causal linearity is still one of the fundaments in scientific thinking. It remains unquestioned in spite of the fact that scientific results in important fields of human life such as genetics and brain function obviously do not follow linearity. Instead, they follow non linear laws as conceptualized in the Chaos Theory, the concepts of complexity or the quantum theory. Because of the fact that the same dynamics can also be found in relational oriented dialogic communication, the traditional gap between natural sciences and humanities seems to vanish. It appears that there has not been made use of the resulting open space for creative interdisciplinary research and practice in human sciences up until now. The reason is obviously a fear of losing stability. The final discussion in this paper deals with the consequences of rigidity and discrepancies in the conceptualization of pathology, rehabilitation and psychotherapy. The balance of the dialectic tension between the pole of security as a human need and the aspect of playful creativity seems to be fundamental for a relationship oriented medicine.

Tato studie má za cíl prozkoumat využitelnost SERVQUAL modelu pro předpověď spokojenosti zákazníků v oblasti fitness v České republice. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 506 respondentů ze 7 fitness center. Kvalita služeb byla měřena SERVQUAL modelem, spokojenost byla měřena pomocí Oliverovy stupnice. Byly shromážděny dva soubory dat: první s cílem zjistit očekávání zákazníků, se kterým navštěvují své fitness centrum a druhý s cílem zjistit jejich vnímání kvality. Byl stanoven rozdíl naměřených hodnot a tyto výsledky byly následně použity k předpovědi spokojenosti zákazníků. Výsledky studie nepodporují využití SERVQUAL modelu pro předpověď spokojenosti zákazníků fitness center na území ČR. Výsledky ukazují na potřebu dalšího výzkumu faktorů, které určují spokojenost zákazníků v oblasti fitness v ČR.

The aim of this study is to examine the applicability of the SERVQUAL model which predicts customer satisfaction in the area of fitness in the Czech Republic. 506 respondents from 7 fitness centres participated in the research. Service quality was measured by the SERVQUAL model, satisfaction was measured by the Oliver scale. Two files of data were gathered: the first with the aim to find out customer expectation with which customers attend their fitness centre and the second, with the aim to find out their quality perception. A difference of measured values was set and these results were subsequently used to predict customer satisfaction. The results of the study do not support the usage of the SERVQUAL model to predict customer satisfaction in fitness centres throughout the Czech Republic. The results indicate the need for another study of factors that determine customer satisfaction in the area of fitness in the Czech Republic.
