Cíl. Cílem studie bylo objasnit vztah síly pletence ramenního a flexorů prstů k lezeckému výkonu u sportovních lezkyň. Metody. Dvacet jedna žen se zúčastnilo šesti lezeckých testů zaměřených na sílu flexorů prstů a pletence ramenního: vis na liště, maximální síla v otevřeném úchopu, výdrž ve shybu na jedné ruce, výdrž ve shybu na obou rukách, diagonální přesah, vertikální přesah. Vztah jednotlivých testů k lezecké výkonnosti RP (Red point) byl hodnocen pomocí koeficientu determinace. Relativní síla jednotlivých testů k lezecké výkonnosti RP byla posuzována lineární regresní analýzou. Výsledky. Největší část variability lezecké výkonnosti RP vysvětlovaly testy: diagonální přesah (R2 = 0,76), vertikální přesah (0,74) a výdrž ve visu (0,72). U testu diagonální přesah byla nalezena vysoká reliabilita ve smyslu vnitřní konzistence (vnitrotřídní korelační koeficient, levá 0,98; pravá 0,97) a kriteriální validita (r = 0,87). Regresní analýza ukázala, že test vertikální přesah má nejvyšší relativní sílu ze všech uvedených testů. Závěry. Studie představila nový specificky lezecký test diagonální přesah. Bylo zjištěno, že test má vysokou reliabilitu a validitu, a proto ho lze využívat jako diagnostický nástroj pro posouzení statické síly pletence ramenního ve sportovním lezení. Síla pletence ramenního se ukazuje jako nezbytná pro zvyšování výkonnosti žen ve sportovním lezení.

Aim. The aim of this study was to evaluate relationships between the rock climbing performance and the strength of finger flexors and shoulder girdle muscles in female rock climbers. Methods. Twenty one female climbers completed six specific climbing tests focused on finger flexor and shoulder girdle muscles strength: finger hang, maximal strength in open crimp, bent arm hang on one arm, bent arm hang on two arms, diagonal reach, power slap. Relationship to the climbing performance RP (Red point) was assessed by a coefficient of determination. Linear regression analysis was used to determine the relative contribution of tests’ strength in the model. Results. Diagonal reach (R2 = 0.76), power slap (0.74) and finger hang (0.72) explained the greatest part of climber’s performance variability. The test diagonal reach showed high consistency (intra-class correlation coefficient, left 0.98; right 0.97). The greatest relative strength in the regression linear model had power slap. Conclusion. This study introduced a new specific climbing test diagonal reach. It was found that this test has a high reliability and criterion validity and is to assess static shoulder girdle strength in rock climbers. It was shown that shoulder girdle strength is an important factor to achieve high performance in female rock climbers.

Práce studuie pevnostní chování adičních silikonových systémů tvořených Lukoprenem® A 6200 a třemi anorganickými plnivy (Sikron SF® 600, Cab-0-Sil® LM 150, chlorid sodný) v různé koncentraci a velikosti částic. Byla měřena pevnost v tahu o (MPa) a poměrné prodloužení vzorků při přetržení e (%). S rostoucí koncentrací plniva v systému klesá poměrné prodloužení matric. Tento trend odpovídá teoretickým předpokladům a je pochopitelný i vzhledem ke skutečnosti, že plnivo má ve srovnání se silikonovou pryží velmi nízkou tažnost. Přídavek Sikronu zvyšuje pevnost vzorků v tahu. Závislost pevnosti v tahu na množství Sikronu v systému je lineární. Toto chování je typické pro vláknité kompozity a kompozity s vysokou adhezí mezi plnivem a matricí. Koncentrace Cab-O-Silu do 5 % neměly vliv na pevnost v tahu. Významný vzrůst pevnosti vykazují pouze systémy s obsahem 10 % Cab-0-Silu. Experimentální závislost pevnosti v tahu na množství Cab-O-Silu v systému lze popsat rovnicí pro kompozity s Hookeovským chováním až do destrukce. Vliv chloridu sodného na pevnost v tahu je komplikovanější. U systémů s částicemi NaCl 20 qm se pevnost prakticky nemění do obsahu 40 % NaCl v systému. U větších velikostních frakcí dochází k poklesu pevnosti V tahu. Se změnou velikosti částic se patrně mění i tvar.

The present paper examines the strength behaviour of addition silicone systems composed of Lukopren® A 6200 and three inorganic fillers (Skron SF® 600, Cab-0-Sil® LM150, sodium chloride) in different concentrations and particle sizes. The tensile strength a (MPa) and the relative lengthening of samples on rupture e (%) were measured. With increasing concentration of the filler in the system relative lengthening of matrices is decreased. This trend corresponds with the theoretical hypotheses and it is understandable also with regard to the fact that the filler, in comparison with silicone rubber, possesses very low ductility. An addition of Sikron increases tensile strength of samples. Dependence of tensile strength on the amount of Sikron in the system is linear. This behaviour is typical of fibrous composites and the composites with hight adhesion between the filler and matrix. Concentrations of Cab-0-Sil up to 5 % did not exert an effect on tensile strength. An important increase in strength was shown only by the systems containing 10 % of Cab-0-Sil. Experimental dependence of tensile strength on the amount of Cab-0-Sil in the system can be described by the equation for composites with Hookean behaviour till destruction. The effect of sodium chloride on tensile strength is more complicated. In the systems with NaCl particles of 20 um, strength is not practically changed up to a content of 40 % of NaCl in the system. In larger size fractions, tensile strength is decreased, and with a change in particle size, shape is probably changed as well.

The aim of the study was to assess anthropometric and strength characteristics in young and adult elite climbers. Twenty two young (12 boys, 10 girls) and fifty nine adult (45 males, 14 females) climbers with the climbing ability ranging from 7+ to 10+ on the UIAA (Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme) scale took part in the study. Despite no dif- ferences in climbing ability among male and female young and adult athletes (median: 8+ on UIAA scale in all four groups), young male and female climbers had higher ECM/ BCM ratio (males 0.81, s = 0.08; females 0.92, s = 0.08), were stronger in finger-hang test (males 74.7, s = 22.0 s; females 81.6, s = 27.2), had less climbing experience (males 4.7, s = 2.4 years; females 4.7, s = 1.9 years) than adult climbers within the same sex (males ECM/BCM 0.72, s = 0.07; finger hang 60.2, s = 16.9 s; experience 9.0, s = 6.6 years; females ECM/BCM 0.82, s = 0.12; finger hang 57.2, s = 17.5 s; experience 6.9, s = 2.2 years). The enhanced finger endurance in youth is probably compensated by better technique and tactic of a climb in adult climbers. There were no significant differences in body fat per- centage, bent-arm hang test results, grip strength and metres climbed per week.
