Introduction: Effective coping mechanisms and available support systems are essential to managing the disease and maintaining the mental health of women with breast cancer. It has been found that spirituality and religion can be an important supportive element in coping with cancer and its consequences. Aim: To analyse spiritual and religious (s/r) interventions provided by health care professionals to breast cancer patients, and their relationship to physical health, psychosocial, and spiritual outcomes. Methods: Integrative literature review of systematic literature reviews and/or meta-analysis was chosen. PubMed and Web of Science databases for the period 2013-2023 after entering the keywords "spiritual, religious, existential, positive psychology, mindfulness, interventions, breast cancer, cancer" in English were searched. Results: The review included 13 systematic reviews and/or meta-analyses (SRMA). Effect of mindfulness intervention was most frequently analysed. S/r interventions significantly associated with improvements in spiritual and existential well-being, quality of life and personal well-being, hope, optimism, cognitive functions and reductions of anxiety, depression, hopelessness, stress, and fatigue. Two SRMA found that s/r interventions were associated with improvements in cortisol levels, inflammatory cytokine activity, and lymphocyte function. Conclusion: The analysed studies showed that s/r interventions are associated with improved biological, psychosocial and spiritual outcomes, which supports the application of these interventions in clinical practice.

Although women and men rate their subjective arousal similarly in response to "female-centric" erotic videos, women rate their subjective arousal lower than men in response to "male-centric" videos, which often end with the male's ejaculation. This study asked whether ratings of subjective sexual arousal and desire using the Sexual Arousal and Desire Inventory (SADI) would be altered if this ending was present or absent, and whether including or excluding the accompanying soundtrack would influence the magnitude and direction of the responses. A total of 119 cis-gendered heterosexual undergraduates (59 women and 60 men) viewed an 11-min sexually explicit heterosexual video that ended with a 15-s ejaculation scene. Two versions of the video were created, one with the ejaculatory ending (E+) and one without (E-). Participants were assigned randomly to view one of the two versions with (S+) or without (S-) the accompanying soundtrack, after which they completed the state version of the SADI. Women and men found both sequences without sound less arousing on the Evaluative, Motivational, and Physiological subscales of the SADI relative to the S+ sequences. However, on the Negative/Aversive subscale, women found the E + S- sequence more negative than did men, whereas this difference was not found with sound. Thus, women and men were sensitive to the auditory content of sexually explicit videos, and scenes of sexual intercourse ending with explicit ejaculation increased the Evaluative and Motivational properties of subjective sexual arousal and desire. However, this occurred in women only when the auditory cues signaled a clear and gratifying sexual interaction.

Výzkum využívá datové sady ze Scopusu a Web of Science (WoS).
Ensuring workplace safety is paramount for organisations operating in the health or industrial sectors, as it mitigates the risk of accidents, injuries, and illnesses that may arise during job-related activities. This study employs bibliometric methods to analyse and evaluate published literature on workplace safety, identifying major themes, authors, and publications in the field and assessing the impact and influence of research in this area. The investigation obtains datasets from Scopus and Web of Science (WoS). The ScientoPy and VOSviewer software were utilised to analyse the datasets. The findings indicate a steady rise in the literature on workplace safety since the 1970s. In 2019, a notable quantity of publications amounting to 537 across both databases was documented. The subject of "Public, Environmental & Occupational Health" has achieved the highest ranking with 1,669 publications. The top five author keywords associated with this subject are "occupational health and safety", "health and safety", "safety", "occupational safety", and "occupational health". The term "COVID-19" has garnered significant attention recently, particularly in 2021 and 2022. The bibliometric analysis indicates that workplace safety research has been a consistent and growing topic of scholarly interest. The findings can guide future research undertakings, decision-making processes in policy formulation, and practical measures aimed at augmenting occupational safety and preserving workers' well-being and general welfare.

According to recent studies, the growing consumption of Internet pornography mainly in male population becomes an increasing problem, which is closely linked to compulsive sexual behavior. Some findings also suggest that Internet pornography consumption might represent a defense mechanism against excessive stress, which enables to cope with stressful events, helps in mood regulation, and decreases depression and anxiety. Users of online pornography involved in these activities also reported that their self-exposition to pornographic material may create guilty feelings and internal conflict in themselves with respect to their own "involuntary" sexual behavior, which suggest that psychosocial stress and possibly traumatic experiences may play a significant role in Internet pornography addiction. Taken together, these findings show that stressful experiences, anxiety, and depression are strongly related to pornography consumption. In addition, conflicting emotional experiences as well as identity problems significantly increase vulnerability to addictive sexual behavior and pornography consumption.
