Rozlišuje se několik typů: vulgární bradavice – verrucae vulgares, plantární bradavice – verrucae plantares, ploché bradavice – verrucae planae juveniles, střapcovité bradavice – verrucae filliformes a genitální bradavice – condylomata accuminata.
The warts are benign lesions, which occur mainly on the skin, rarely on the mucosa. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is responsible for a number of lesions. Children, adolescents and people with diminished resistence are mostly infected. We differentiate several types of warts – verrucae vulgares, verrucae plantares, verrucae planae juveniles, verrucae filliformes and condylomata accuminata.

Článek popisuje různé terapeutické možnosti v nemocniční a ambulantní léčbě hemoroidů, společně s použitím novějších přístrojů používaných k léčbě hemoroidů.

Haemorrhoids affect a large proportion of the population. Not only surgeons, but also gastroenterologists and GPs are involved in diagnosing and treating this condition. A major breakthrough in the treatment of grade III and IV haemorrhoids was the introduction of stapled haemorrhoidopexy (Long method). However, even today, ten years after its introduction, the method is not entirely free of complications even if correctly indicated. Likewise, no method of treatment for haemorrhoids can presently be considered optimal; therefore, numerous methods exist and new ones are being developed.
