Proteiny lidské plasmy tvoří rozsáhlou skupinu proteinů. Můžeme je rozdělit do 5 skupin: albuminy, α 1 -globuliny, α 2 -globuliny, β -globuliny a μ -globuliny. Dělení plasmatických proteinů pomocí elektroforesy je cenným diagnostickým nástrojem. Pro stanovení těchto proteinů jsou využívány imunochemické metody a hmotnostní spektrometrie.
Plasma proteins comprise a large group of different proteins. They can by dividend into 5 groups: alpha1 globulins, alpha2 globulins, beta globulins and gamma globulins. Separating serum proteins by electrophoresis is a valuable diagnostic tool. For the quantification of these proteins are used immunochemical methods and mass spectrometry.

Autoři předkládají rozbor pacientů ambulantně léčených pro průduškové astma se zaměřením na pacienty s těžkým perzistujícím astmatem. Diskutují zařazení pacientů do jednotlivých subfenotypů na základě podrobných anamnestických a základních neinvazivních laboratorních vyšetření, která je možno uskutečnit v běžné ambulantní praxi specializovaných ambulancí. Rozdělení do jednotlivých subfenotypů se v podstatě shoduje s rozčleněním do subfenotypů na základě časově náročných a často i invazivních laboratorních vyšetření na identifikaci typu zánětu v dýchacích cestách astmatiků.
Authors present an analysis of outpatients treated for asthma with a focus on patients with severe persistent asthma. Discusse the classification of patients into subfenotypes based on detailed anamnestic and basic non-invasive laboratory tests that may be made in classical clinical practice of specialized ambulances. Division into individual subfenotypes essentially coincides with the breakdown subfenotypes based on time-consuming and often invasive laboratory test to identify the type of airway inflammation in asthmatics.
